This was amazing! I am such a big annotator when I read. I love expressing my thoughts in the margins, underlining what resonates, and highlighting what I want to remember. I haven't thought about using sticky notes, though. I might have to add them to my annotations when I have extended thoughts or when writing a summary. And thank you for the freebies and the kit ideas! Now I need to go get cute pouches from Walmart and order myself some annotation tabs and stickers for my journal!

Those are all the reasons I have a hard time processing library books and ebooks . I just have to annotate etc .

Great post !

agreed! I often use the clear sticky notes when I want to annotate in a library book while I read. Then I put them in my commonplace book when the book is due. 😁

Thank you for writing this post, I loved it. I’ve been writing in my books and journaling for years now; this post gave me a fresh perspective.

I have my own “journaling kit” that travels from my living room to my dining room depending on where I end up sitting to write my thoughts or when I’m in the mood to aesthetically place paper and stickers on a page. It’s just a medium sized box filled to the brim with scrapbook supplies ( mostly fun paper and my huge collection of stickers).

Anywho,

Happy annotating and journaling!

Cassandra
