I think of a sound board when I look at snapshots of my life. There are times when I have space for growth and forward momentum, then others when that becomes a background track.
I really enjoyed this April! I am sitting here in my kitchen pondering my season. It is a “graduation/before college” season for both my daughter and I. I’m helping my daughter prepare to take on that new part of her life, and also soaking up the time we have to spend before her schedule gets much busier! (She is starting at community college-so she won’t leave home for another year. I am glad-as the old song by Connie Francis goes-“Break it to me gently!” ;) I think I’m preparing for that season right now, in my heart, reading (Beyond Mere Motherhood, again!) and meditating on scripture.
I also need to turn up the focus on my health and make time for more strength training exercise.
