I finished my book! Celebrate with me! 🥳
Sharing some preview content from my book, jumping into the book proposal process & celebrating completion of my manuscript. 🎉
Who my book is for:
My book is for women in their 20's and 30's who are experiencing burnout, frustration and overwhelm in their lives. Also, my audience includes women navigating life transitions or significant changes.
They long for a “big sister” type of mentor who is genuine and kind.
Life is messy and complicated. My readers want tips to align with their desires, structure their lives, combat decision fatigue, and avoid perfectionism with simple changes. My readers crave empathy and kindness in navigating the challenges of adulting.
My solution:
My book serves as a guide to help readers reclaim space for themselves and what matters to them. Through anecdotes, practical tips, compassion, and journal prompts, I meet the reader where they are and guide them toward a more calm and intentional life.
I offer ways to feel less rushed and overwhelmed.
I share my own story of burnout and what it felt like in my own over-scheduled life. How I was able to find peace while still being effective and productive.
I share the common myths and frustrations that harm us, how to set boundaries, and how to find restful productivity while reclaiming weekends and establishing space. I provide practical tips to apply in the home, rhythms, routines, and planning.
Personal stories, quotes, and journal entries are woven throughout the book giving the reader a glimpse into implementing the tools and strategies I share.
I have collaborated with beta readers throughout the writing process and they are excited to see the finished book. Check out their comments.
Some of my Beta Reader Feedback:
“Easy read. A good mixture of stories and takeaways.”
“Your ideas about batching tasks, evaluating energy levels, and planning for your future self were actionable, encouraging, and especially helpful for someone trying to get a handle on an overwhelming number of tasks and a limited energy level.”
“The book really has your voice. I don't know you very well, but have a sense of what is important to you, your disciplines, strengths, and vulnerabilities. Your writing feels authentically from you, which is a good thing!”
“The book is definitely written--stylistically and practically--for a younger person.”
“I really like the bolded statements within the sections to help drive points home.”
“I did feel like I was waiting for like in the next chapter you will clearly state the five steps on solving the world’s problems, but if it was that easy, we wouldn’t need these books. You did a great job of giving examples and scenarios without preaching that this is THE ONE and ONLY way.”
“I love this book so much! It has already blessed me and made my life better!”
I need your help!
Since the unexpected loss of my editor Stacie, I have shifted to traditional publishing. This week I am wrapping up the final touches on my book proposal.
So, I'm reaching out to ask for your support. Your help would mean the world!1
Here are a few ways you can help:
Social Media: Building my platform is important to get the attention of agents and publishers. Please like, comment, and subscribe to my posts!
Written Endorsements: If you've enjoyed reading my content, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could write a few sentences that I can share.
Podcast/YouTube Features: If you host a podcast or YouTube channel, discussing the book in an episode or video would be fantastic.
Personal Recommendations: Share your positive experiences with my content with word-of-mouth recommendations (or just text a link to a friend). It’s one of the most effective forms of marketing!
Join me: send me an email if you are interesting in being part of my launch team. Being on my team will include free bonus content and a signed copy!
Book Reviews: After the book launch, leaving a positive review on sites like Amazon or Goodreads would boost visibility and credibility.
Which of these would you be willing to do to help me out?
Just one or two would make a huge impact! Your support means everything.💙
I'm grateful for anything you can do as I enter this next phase of final edits, marketing, and publishing. It is scary and exciting all at once.

What is "Subtle Resistance"? When we are surrounded by specific norms, we no longer see them as optional but as “the way life is”. Check out this post ⬅️
I know I used waaaaay too many exclamation points in this post. But man!! I am so excited! I just had to share without filter. 😜🥳
This idea of awesome adulthood originally came from Julie Bogart in a podcast I listened to in 2018. - Spoiler Alert: it was a game changer for me!
Congratulations! 🥳
That’s awesome April! Yay! 🙌🏻😃Ya know, I do not know your social media account but I’d be glad to share. What is your handle? Also, the first thing I thought of when you mentioned awesome adulting (sounds great!) was Beyond Mere Motherhood, Moms are People Too, by Cindy Rollins. 💗Have you read it? So good:) It is really a book about self education for women.
