Hi April! I'm thrilled that you wrote about this book - I have two other Anne Bogel books but this one had slipped past my radar! I hope you will keep posting links you come across on this subject! I also love learning about the temperaments/personalities! (And a cozy afternoon with tea and a good book sounds perfect!) Learning about the personalities helps me to understand myself and others better. It shines a spotlight on my strengths AND my weaknesses so I know where to focus my efforts! I don't take it as a license or an excuse to behave badly (or excuse/condone others' bad behavior) but it helps me to be more understanding. When I was 16, I read my first book on this subject, and the author wrote that many/most of the saints were melancholic! In that moment, the seed was planted for me to write a book about how God created all the personality types, and that every temperament/personality has the ability to do glorious things for God and become a saint! It's called "Piety and Personality: The Temperaments of the Saints" and will be published by tanbooks.com next February!
