Seeing my book cover finally complete is both exhilarating and surreal. It’s the moment when everything starts to feel real—this project, which once lived only in my mind, now has a face.
There’s excitement in knowing it’s almost ready to be shared, but also a bit of nervousness—will it resonate the way I hope?
At the same time, there’s a deep sense of relief.
After years of writing, revising, and making endless decisions, I’m finally near the finish line. It’s a mix of emotions, but mostly, I just can’t wait for you to hold it in your hands.

This whole book has been a team effort, especially these last few steps of finishing the publishing work. Mary (my oldest) is majoring in Graphic Design and she was amazing at designing my cover.
We had fun getting everything just right.
Since we’re self-publishing, we’re skipping the pre-order phase and going straight to launch.
This means that instead of waiting weeks for a pre-order to arrive, Subtle Resistance will be immediately available on release day.
You’ll be able to order the paperback from Amazon and Barnes & Noble or grab the ebook without delay. It’s a streamlined, no-wait approach that lets us get the book to you as soon as it's ready!

pick an offical launch date (hopefully early March)
plan actual launch event either in person or via Zoom??
revive my podcast by sharing pieces from my book
create videos about my book (plus edit and share them)
{ I’m fine, these are not intimidating at all… totally fine… FINE…!! 🙄😜}
But honestly…
I’m so excited to share this book with you and can’t wait for you to read it!
Self-publishing has been a challenging but rewarding journey, and knowing it will soon be out in the world makes all the hard work worth it!!
